Hailing from Kingston, Jamaica, he grew up listening to various genres of music from artists like his cousin Bob Marley, Garnett Silk, Jimmy Hendrix, Miles Davis, Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Dennis Brown – all of whom have influenced his fusion of Jazz, Rock, and Reggae. This distinctive sound mixed with the calm yet simultaneously energetic energy which he brings to his performance carries the audience into a sort of trance.
