Community Affairs Show

The Community Affairs Show is one of the jewels of KAFM's program schedule and can be heard Monday through Thursday 12PM to 1PM MTN, all year long. Programming of Community Affairs Show is truly for the whole community, and features dozens of volunteers and hundreds of local guests, and is Hosted by Jeffery "Coach" Schulner.

The primary focus of the Community Affairs Hour is topics of local interest about charities, education, civic and commerce in Western Colorado. Guests include a wide variety of Mesa County non-profits, businesses, and individuals who value KAFM's commitment to keeping our neighbors informed about resources available in the Grand Valley and the Western Slope Region of Colorado.

Many of the segments are available as podcasts.  Search for Conversations@KAFM on your podcast app.
If you have an idea for a program, and would like to know how to host a monthly segment, please send an email to Katie@KAFMradio.org. No radio experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn and a desire to improve your community.

If you represent a local charity or nonprofit and have newsworthy content that you would like featured on the Community Afairs Hour, or would like to be a guest on an up coming show, please fill out the Booking Form HERE and someone in Programming with be in touch with you shortly.
