February 26 at 3:00 P.M. Both concerts will take place in Love Recital Hall of the Moss Performing Arts Center at 12th Street and North Avenue on the CMU campus. This is the 37th Season for Western Colorado Chorale. For this concert, the sixty-voice chorale and guest string quartet will be conducted by Dr. Monte Atkinson, Interim Music Director, who founded the group in 1985. This is the Chorale’s first full performance season since March 2020, due to COVID restrictions. The concert literature is derived from music evocative of the winter season, by composers from the 16th to 21st centuries.
