We’re celebrating Colorado Gives Day with an open-house-style morning at the Confluence Center — and you’re invited! Join the more...0 Confluence Center nonprofits for a special CO Gives Day Open House on Tuesday, December 9, from 8:30–10:30 AM. Stop by for coffee, pastries, and friendly conversation with the organizations that call the Confluence Center home. This casual, drop-in event is a great way to connect with local nonprofits doing meaningful work in our community and to make your CO Gives Day gift in one convenient “one-stop shop.” Participating nonprofits include: RiversEdge West One Riverfront EUREKA! McConnell Science Museum Colorado National Monument Association (That’s us!) We’ll have tables set up throughout the lobby, staff available to answer questions, and plenty of opportunities to learn, mingle, and support the causes you care about most. We hope to see you there!

The story On Christmas Eve, young Clara receives a magical nutcracker that leads her on an enchanting journey. After a fierce battle with the Rat King, the Nutcracker becomes a prince and whisks Clara away to the Land of Sweets, where they are welcomed with dazzling dances from around the world. All performances are under two hours including a 20 minute intermission. Opportunities for photos and to meet the cast follows each performance at no additional cost to our community. Colorado West Ballet (formerly CO West Performing Arts Company) is a 501(c)3 company established in 2022 to bring more professional performing arts to Western CO and surrounding rural communities. Professional company artists from around the world have relocated to beautiful Grand Junction to reside and dedicate themselves to their artform for our community.
