Based on the Hitchcock thriller of the same name, The 39 Steps follows Richard Hannay as he embarks on a high-speed chase from a London music hall to Scotland’s highlands, where he must dodge devious spies and attempt to reveal the secrets of an international spy ring. With inventive stagecraft and nimble performances, four actors play more than 100 characters. Don’t miss this fast-paced, riotous spoof that is equal parts slapstick comedy and film noir thriller. Our Maestro’s careful curation of pieces aimed at celebrating the Joy of our shared humanity, is a fitting season finale for a season aimed at elevating our audience, musicians and community. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece. Etiquette: Please silence devices, limit noise, and be considerate to ensure everyone enjoys the performance.
