It's one of our favorite times of year — when Mountainfilm On Tour - Grand Junction returns! Come join us on Thursday, November 21 at the more...0 historic Avalon Theater in downtown Grand Junction! Doors will open at 5:30 pm, with films starting at 7 pm. Western Colorado Alliance hosts Mountainfilm On Tour to inspire healthy, just and self-reliant communities through the power of film, art and ideas. Much like our Alliance, these film festivals work to increase our collective voices and impact in our communities. As always, we'll feature a friendly happy hour with music, and you'll have the opportunity to bid on a wide variety of items in our silent auction! This event is free to attend but a $15 donation is encouraged. Please join us on November 21 for the one and only Mountainfilm on Tour - Grand Junction!

Audiences will enjoy acoustic and electric renditions of Clapton’s greatest hits, spanning his six-decade career, including beloved classics like "Layla," "Tears in Heaven," and "Wonderful Tonight." This show promises a night of nostalgia, led by two guitarists/vocalists backed by a five-piece band paying tribute to one of rock's most enduring legends. From: Grand Junction’s Downtown Merchants and Grand Valley’s Entertainers & Music Students, The annual Spirit of more...0 Christmas Walk will be Friday December 13th and will once again be the year’s largest and most varied collection of entertainers at a single event on the Western Slope! We are expecting to have three hundred + roving entertainers performing on Downtown’s Main Street and inside Downtown’s unique shops. Performing will be; music students, barbershop quartets, choirs, jazz bands. Bluegrass pickers and more! Bring your neighbors and sing a carol! Of course, Santa Claus will be there as usual, along with horse drawn carriage rides. Businesses will be open late from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM and will be serving complimentary hot drinks & treats. It is totally free!

Kick off your holiday season more...0 in grand style as the Western Colorado Chorale and full forces of the GJSO unite for an evening of your favorite yuletide hits! Beloved carols and classic seasonal tunes infused with the power and magic of a full orchestra and chorus. Under the batons of Charles Latshaw and Dirk Johnson, the stage comes alive with the joyful melodies of the season, transporting audiences to a world of holiday cheer and merriment. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Parking: Plenty of parking around Colorado Mesa University Performing Arts Center with no passes needed on weekends or after 5 p.m. on Fridays. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece. Etiquette: Please silence devices, limit noise, and be considerate to ensure everyone enjoys the performance.
