October 13th is the day come celebrate with us and enter for a chance to win! Live Music and Octoberfest Beer from 11-7pm. This year we want to give you a night on the town with 2 Tix to see John Hiatt at the Avalon, Dinner at Moody's Lounge and a night at the Historic Hotel Melrose. $20 dollars (plus processing fee) will get you a ticket for a chance to win this night on the town. An inaugural performance at CMU’s Performing Arts Center provides the perfect setting to Witness Musical EXCELLENCE. This lively and more...0 challenging concert brings to light a trifecta of talent. We start with the pure bliss of Mason’s “A Joyous Trilogy” followed by a dazzling performance of the legendary Ravel’s Piano Concerto, by the spectacular Spencer Myer. Sibelius’ 5th Symphony appropriately ends the concert with the most dynamically challenging sections of the season surrounded by unpredictable silence. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Parking: Plenty of parking around Colorado Mesa University Performing Arts Center with no passes needed on weekends or after 5 p.m. on Fridays. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece. Join the well-known adventure and memorable characters down the rabbit hole to discover Alice's Wonderland. Live performances of this full-length more...0 ballet will be presented by Western Colorado's premier professional ballet company, Colorado West Performing Arts Company (CWPAC) at Grand Junction's Avalon Theatre and the Montrose Pavilion. This two-act ballet is filled with special animation effects to send you on a magical journey to enjoy with your loved ones, leaving the theatre with plenty to share and remember. Alice's Wonderland features thirteen professional company artists, three trainees, and other local talented youth who auditioned to experience the stage in supporting roles. This show is under two hours including a 20 minute intermission. Opportunities to meet the cast and take photos will follow each performance in the auditorium.
