Some of the Grand Junction Symphony’s most accomplished players come together for an evening of chamber music magic. This specially formed ensemble highlights the individual talents and cohesive artistry of our orchestra in an up-close, personal setting ideal for appreciating the intricacies of the chamber repertoire. A refined, yet relaxed concert at First Presbyterian Church. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the show; most arrive 40 minutes prior. Dress Code: Wear what you like, though athletic attire is generally discouraged. Applause: Applause is encouraged; follow others if you are unsure when to clap. Beloved carols and classic seasonal tunes infused with the power and magic of a full orchestra and chorus. Under the batons of Charles Latshaw and Dirk Johnson, the stage comes alive with the joyful melodies of the season, transporting audiences to a world of holiday cheer and merriment. When to Arrive: Doors open one hour before the performance; most people arrive 40 minutes early. Concessions are available before the concert and at intermission. Parking: Plenty of parking around Colorado Mesa University Performing Arts Center with no passes needed on weekends or after 5 p.m. on Fridays. Dress Code: Wear what you like; dressing up is optional. General Guide for Applause: Clap for the Concertmaster, Conductor, and after each piece. Etiquette: Please silence devices, limit noise, and be considerate to ensure everyone enjoys the performance.
