Franz more...0 doesn’t realize that she is a doll whom the toymaker is trying to bring to life, and when Swanhilda and her friends sneak into the Doctor’s workshop, it looks as though he has succeeded. Love triumphs over all in this comedy of mistaken identity, culminating in a joyful celebration of the lovers’ wedding. Coppélia is an enchanting family ballet, perfect for young and old alike. Featuring thirteen professional company artists, three trainees, and other talented local youth who auditioned for supporting roles, this show runs just under two hours, including a 20-minute intermission. After each performance, opportunities to meet the cast and take photos will be available in the auditorium or lobby.

Local director and writer more...0 David Kenworthy will be leading a workshop for the WCWF to create an original play or screenplay on Tuesday, April 1st. He will be basing the session on the book The 90-Day Play by Linda Walsh Jenkins, which is used in playwriting classes all over the country. With brainstorming sessions, writing prompts, and industry tips and tricks, we hope you are on your way to writing your own play by the end of the session. Don’t be an April fool. Join the Western Colorado Writers' Forum on April 1st! RSVPs are requested so we may best plan for seating.

Americana/folk singer-songwriter, Andy Sydow is a jack-of-all-trades. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist who's lyrics paint a picture of more...0 poetic realism, the Colorado native tours constantly both solo and with a backing band. Throughout the course of a show he’s known to croon an audience with acoustic guitar ballads, sing a few numbers on his lap steel, and even sit down at the keys to show off his surprising boogie-woogie piano chops. Sydow has toured internationally and received accolades from LA Music Critic and No Depression. On top of that, the last three years have seen the release of over a dozen tracks Sydow produced for other artists, including Lauren Frihauf and Payge Turner (The Voice, Season 19).
